When a man by the name of Wes came home from work recently, he was alarmed when he could not locate his Great Dane. It’s not a small dog, so it’s not really given many options when it comes to hiding. It cannot just climb on a shelf or get under a piece of furniture; it’s a Great Dane. Wes, however, could not locate his dog. He looked all over the house before he went into the yard. Growing more alarmed as he realized his dog was not in his yard, either, Wes finally heard something that caused him to look up. When he looked up, he found his beloved dog in a tree stuck about twenty feet into the air. The Great Dane had been stuck there for who even knows how long after doing who even knows what.
Wes could not convince his dog to come down, so he called the local police department. They sent out the local volunteer firefighters, who decided that a harness would work to get the dog down. Unfortunately, the dog weighed too much for the harness and it snapped on him a few feet from the ground. His rescuers beneath him, they were able to catch him and put him safely back on the ground. Wes has decided his animal was probably chasing another much smaller animal, and that he might not ever do that again. No one knows how long Kora was in the tree, but they know she’s not looking forward to going back up there anytime soon.
