Abandoned Great Dane Mix Needs a Loving Forever Home

great dane mix

Meet Jagger, a 3-year-old Great Dane Mix that was abandoned by his previous owners when the tied him to a post in the street and left him there. At least these terrible people left their dog somewhere public so that he might be quickly found rather than leaving him in the woods or somewhere remote as so many horrible dog owners do. This gorgeous dog is so sweet and so wonderful, it’s heartbreaking that someone would abandon him and leave him for dead. He’s currently been rescued and is being housed by the RSPCA Millbrook Animal Hospital in Surrey, and he desperately needs a home. His previous owners kept him outdoors, causing him to suffer some health issues, but he has been rehabilitated and is ready for someone to love forever.

There is something to know, though, before you decide to adopt this particular dog or one like him. They’re expensive; they require a lot of food and water, long walks and a lot of care. This gorgeous dog is actually a whopping 176 pounds, and he slobbers a lot. He is very sweet, though, and he loves to have fun. These are dogs that find themselves more comfortable on your lap, so it’s a good idea to know that he is not trying to crush you. He just wants to cuddle. Loving and sweet, a dog like this is going to make for a wonderful pet for any family that wants a loving dog that will keep them safe and scare almost everyone away.
