Amazing Video of a Dog Miraculously Helping a Sick Child

Dogs And Owners Gather For 2011 Crufts Dog Show

What does the love of a dog mean to you? Does it mean you feel less alone in a cold world? Does it mean you always feel like someone has your back? To you, is the love of a dog enough to remind you that, even on the worst days, life isn’t that bad? Well, what if we told you there was some magic in the love of a dog. Would you believe us? After the video you are about to watch, you will.

The dog in the video’s name is McGee, and his job is to hang around with sick kids and make them feel better. Yes, we are already tearing up, too. There is one boy in particular he has a clear connection with, and we get to see (and hear) why being around a dog is actually, literally, good for our health.

Not only does it lower our blood pressure to be pet a dog, it also brings with it a sense of peace and purity we do not get from the outside world. As powerful as it is for us, it is staggering to see the effect something as simple as petting a dog can do for a sick or injured child (or adult for that matter).

Dog love is definitely magic.
