Everyone is excited that Star Wars is making a comeback in theaters very soon. But one star of the famous movie franchise is making waves for different reasons; Carrie Fisher has become famous for a different reason recently after she shared pictures of her pet dog named Gary.  A French Bulldog, Gary is a super cute pooch that has a fan base all of his own. Fisher has taken her dog everywhere she goes and even on the red carpet. No matter where Fisher shows up this pint sized pooch seems to be following her.  But unlike some of the dogs in Hollywood, this canine likes to make his own entrance. This pampered pet is more than just a posh companion for Fisher.

Gary is a therapy dog and is helping Fisher cope with her Bi-polar disorder.  Fisher made this statement about her beloved pet, “Gary is mental also. My mother says Gary is a hooligan. Gary is like my heart.” The Star Wars star seems to really love Gary and he has been with her in times of need.  The pair seems inseparable when you see them in public and Fisher always has a big smile on her face when the dog is around.  The bond between dogs and owners is nothing new but seeing Gary and Fisher together really helps point out that dogs are human’s best friend after all.

Gary has appeared in a lot of Instagram and Twitter post and has a lot of followers.  Many people have commented on the photos of the dog and people are begging for more.  It seems that this small dog has won the hearts of people around the world.  There are many celebrities with famous pets these days but Gary seems to out shine them all.  While Gary has yet to star in any films of his own, his likeness sure has made a huge impact on the world of social media. So if you haven’t seen Gary the amazing wonder dog before, you should check him out.  The pictures in this article are just a few examples of this very famous pup.
