We aren’t going to judge anyone for surrendering their animals for any reason. We aren’t going to do it because we choose to focus on the fact that these people are surrendering their animals rather than leaving them alone in their home or abandoning them somewhere they will never find any help and will likely die. We aren’t going to say anything because these people are in the mindset that they are helping their dogs and cats when they can no longer care for them. Even when the reason for leaving the animals is as silly as this one. This family moved to another country and they surrendered their cat and dog, lifelong best friends. Instead of taking them with, they left them behind because they did not want to put the animals through the long quarantine process.
However, the animals were then separated at the shelter. It was not easy for either of them considering they were such long term best friends. However, they were recently reunited and they are just too sweet together. For so many years, they lived together, played together and spent all their time together and it was just awful to see that they were separated and lonely without the other. The people at the shelter decided to reunite the two and see how happy it made them, and we are so happy that they were able to get it on camera so the rest of the world could see this very darling reunion.
