Doberman Pup Will Do Anything To Be Friends with a Maltese

Doberman dogs are quite the intimidating dogs, if I do say so myself. I grew up next door to one and it frightened me so much, I never thought I would actually like dogs without being afraid of them. While I now adore dogs, something tells me I still would be scared of them to this day! They’re cute, but they look pretty intense – and quite vicious.

In the video below, one doberman totally blows my perception of a doberman away. When the brief video comes on, we see and hear the five-month-old puppy crying and whining as he is left at the edge of the pool as his pal, a Maltese canine, can continue to lounge and hang out. The Maltese is in the middle of the pool essentially, standing atop a lounging bed on the surface of the water. For a while you think the dog is going to give up… but no. The persistent canine ends up realizing he can actually be the one to go and help rescue them all. The doberman’s landing was anything graceful, but luckily, it led him exactly where he wanted to be – right next to his very best friend, the fluffy little Maltese guy!

The two dogs looked nearly angelic toward the end of the video – especially when they would just be in the pool and hang around with one another. The gutsy doberman took a leap of faith to get right next to his buddy – one that he doesn’t think it’s done until you really are checking out.
