Dog Breed of the Day: Cockapoo

Cockapoo_2

From Dogbreed Info: The Cockapoo is not a purebred dog. It is a cross between the Cocker Spaniel and the Poodle. The best way to determine the temperament of a mixed breed is to look up all breeds in the cross and know you can get any combination of any of the characteristics found in either breed. Not all of these designer hybrid dogs being bred are 50% purebred to 50% purebred. It is very common for breeders to breed multi-generation crosses.

Do any of you out there own a Cockapoo?  If so from what breeds did you mix them?  Please send us any pictures you might have of your special Cockapoo.   And if you have any stories we’d love for you to share them with us.  We decided to put together a fun gallery of various Cockapoo dogs for your viewing pleasure.  Be sure to click “next” beneath each photo to view them all!
