Dog Calls For Help and Saves Her 82-Year-Old Owner Who Was Lost In The Woods

Lost in the Woods

Dogs will do anything for their owners. This dog is just like any other dog; saving the life of his family. When an 82-year-old woman decided to take her dog for a walk in the woods, she had no idea that her life would change so drastically. When Reya was on a walk with her owner, she saved her life. The dog was a rescue, and she did the same for her owner. When her owner was lost, she told her dog to go home and get help. Their usual walk was interrupted by the horrible weather, and her owner was unable to get home after she became lost for about 5 hours. The wet weather created dangerous conditions and turned her around.

Knowing that her dog showing up alone would panic her family, she sent the dog back to the house so that her family would know where to find her. She stayed put and the family saw the dog, and became worried. The dog worked very hard to tell her family that her mother was lost, and police were able to use the dog’s intelligence and sense of direction and smell to find the 82-year-old owner, safe and sound.
