Dog Stuck in Fence Finds A Happy Ending After Firefighters Save his Life

We all have a rough day every so often. We all find ourselves in a situation that’s a little bit uncomfortable from time to time. We all find a time in our lives in which we stick our nose somewhere it does not belong. It’s always a problem; and it’s always something that leaves us with a headache and a lesson learned. This sweet German Shepherd, though, has a different kind of problem. It’s a little bit of a rough day for him. It’s an uncomfortable situation, and he’s got his head where it does not belong; in the bottom of a fence stuck between two posts. It’s not an ideal situation, but it’s one he found himself in recently and he has the Sacramento Fire Department to thank for his amazing rescue.

This dog was stuck with his head between two posts in a metal fence recently, and Engine 44 stopped to see what they could do to rescue this sweet pup. Terrified, the dog was moving around and hurting himself even more. That’s when firefighters stepped in to hold his head while another used a cutter to remove the metal fence from around his head. The dog is now in good hands, safe, sound and no worse for the wear. We think, though, that he will not be going around and sticking his head between anymore tight spots after this ordeal. What a sweet rescue story and one that always makes our day when it comes to local law enforcement doing the wonderful thing.
