Dogs are Taking Over Governors Residence

The Pennsylvania Governor’s Residence will be full of dogs at the “Second Sunday” event this month. From art to service dogs, man’s best friend is going to be everywhere at the free event. The event will showcase an art exhibit from the American Kennel Club.

Kirsten Page who is the Deputy Director of Communication is excited because she says that “this Sunday is going to be all about the dogs.” In addition to the artwork that will be display (24 painting in all that were donated) there will be “several” demonstrations made by service dogs showing off their skills.

It will be a fun day to be in Harrisburg to say the least. If you have a chance to make it this weekend then we recommend you go! The event is this Sunday and again, costs nothing.
