A pit bull is thankful to still be alive today after someone tossed her into a swamp. The dog was abused before this happened, but it was when the dog’s owners (it’s assumed that it was his owner, at least) threw this sweet pit bull over the edge of a Louisiana bridge and into an alligator filled swamp. She was attacked by gators, who likely thought that she was their next meal. Someone called for help to have the dog rescued, and firefighters responded immediately.
Thankfully, firefighters were able to get the dog out of the water, away from the alligators and to safety. She was then named Ally, and she is now recovering from her injuries. When it has been determined that she is completely recovered, she will be adopted to a loving family. An investigation into the circumstances surrounding her abuse is underway. Louisiana authorities are looking for anyone with any information as to who might have throw this dog over the edge of a bridge and into gator infested waters likely knowing that the dog didn’t stand much of a chance at living through that kind of situation. Whoever did this deserves whatever punishment is coming their way when they are caught.
