It never fails to amaze us just how many people do not know the proper way to own a pet. It seems, to me anyway, that it’s not that difficult of a concept. You feed the dog, you clean the dog, you provide the dog with water, you love the dog, you provide the dog with shelter and someone to walk it and take it to the restroom. I guess maybe I, along with the other good dog owners of the world, are just a select few group of actual geniuses to know that this difficult and exceptionally complex concept. Or perhaps we are not geniuses, but we have something that’s called common sense (which I’m not sure is all that common anymore). Raising a dog is not that difficult when you have a few brain cells and a little love to give.
For some, though, the concept is right over their heads; too difficult to deal with. This dog is a sweet pit bull, and her new name is Sparkle. When a group of little boys, the oldest being only 13, noticed that this dog was tied up and abandoned, too thin and not healthy, they decided to rescue her. They wrapped her freezing and underweight body in their jackets and they provided her with food before they were offered help by a Pit Bull Rescue in their city. Now this gorgeous dog is being cared for and loved, checked out by a vet and in search of her forever home. People, if kids that range from 7 to 13 understand what a dog needs, why can’t so many grown adults?
