What Is The Funniest Thing You’ve Ever Seen Your Dog Do?

Pet Halloween Contest at Old Westbury Gardens

There is one thing that all people who have and love dogs can admit to. Dogs have a ton of character. There are some dogs that are sheepish and get really scared easily. There are some dogs that think they are ten times larger than they actually are. There are even some dogs who don’t seem to fully understand they are dogs. This can often result in absolutely hilarious scenarios. You know, those moments when your dog does something so absurd and adorable you just can’t help but bust out into laughter? Yes, we thought we would talk about those. A “dog discussion”, if you will.

One of our editors has a dog named Suzy-Q, and Suzy-Q will not take her bath unless there is a certain rubber ducky in the tub. It may sound crazy, it may sound unbelievable, but it’s true. He bought her the duck as puppy to help her understand that water is not something to be scared of, and she got so attached, she won’t take her bath or wash up unless “Rachel the rubber ducky” is in the tub first. She doesn’t see the duck, she doesn’t go near the tub. But as soon as you put Rachel down, the dog runs over and leaps in the tub. It is adorable, but also hilarious. This got us thinking. We should start a dog discussion on the site, and see what great ad funny stories other people have about some silly things their dogs may do.

So, join our dog discussion. Leave a comment on the article, or hop over to our Facebook and engage us directly. We would love to hear some stories from you about the funniest thing your dog has ever done. The best one will get a shout-out directly on our Facebook wall.

Heck, we may even write an article about it!
