Many of us have a hard time waking up in the morning, especially when it’s an incredibly early wakeup call. Sometimes, however, we are forced to do so because of a work, family, or friend-related event that calls for it, such as a wedding or a meeting. It can prove to be difficult to not hit the snooze button, get up and get ready most of the time. That not only rings true for humans but dogs as well. Dogs tend to resemble their owners in how they behave and react to things, and one of those things includes waking up early. Dogs love their sleep much like people and can even sleep over 12 hours a day! In a popular viral video, a sleepy Great Dane is not having it when being woken up at 3:30am by his owner – in fact, he downright refuses!
In the video below, a dog named Thor is being woken up by his owner and told that he needs to wake up and go. Upon being told he needs to get up and not lay down, the canine grovels and stretches on the bed he’s on, as if to say, “No, I don’t want to.” The expressive puppy groans and does his dog version of whining as his owner prods him to wake up and get out of bed. The puppy reacts the way many of us do when it comes to waking up and getting up on Monday morning: not amused and even a bit angry. At one point, Thor is being told to get up and go and at first glance it looked like he was getting ready to obey his owner’s wishes. But then the funny puppy plops down among the pillows of the bed and makes himself comfortable there, much to the chagrin of the owner – especially after the owner says, “That’s a good boy!” Thor is one hilarious pup!
