Gypsy The Pit Bull Adopts 3-Week-Old Rescued Kitten

Pit bulls are the unfortunate recipients of a crappy reputation. There is just no other word for it. A few of them are raised poorly, taught to be aggressive and dangerous and that’s suddenly the perception that everyone has. The truth is that pit bulls are actually very kind and loving animals and they are wonderful pets. This is a breed that is very good with kids and other animals, and they are very loyal to their families. That’s exactly what Gypsy the pit bull is like. When her family met her, they knew immediately that this was the dog that they were meant to adopt. This beautiful pit bull was so friendly and loving to their family that they could not imagine life without her.

Since they adopted Gypsy, she’s managed to make friends with chickens on the family farm, the kids, and everyone she meets. When her family recently took in a kitten, Barnabas, that was only 3-weeks-old and very sick at the time, Gypsy immediately adopted this kitten. She would care for the darling kitten like a mother cat, licking her, protecting her and loving her like no other. The kitten was bottle-fed, sick and not looking good for a while, but that did not stop Gypsy from wanting to be near her. And her family was not even remotely worried about this large dog being so close to this tiny kitten. They’re the best of friends.

Fortunately, Barnabas has come a long way since his adoption and he is healthy and happy now. He loves Gypsy. The family decided that there was no way that they could not provide Barnabas with a home considering how close the dog is to the cat, and now they’re living a happy life all together as one big happy family. And trust me when I say that you have not seen anything so adorable.
