Health Food for your Dogs

Newborn Chihuahua Is One Of The World's Smallest Puppies

Has anyone noticed the trend of food taking a turn from unhealthy to healthy for most people in the last few years? From Monsato to the stigma of being overweight, unnatural foods seem to have no place on Earth anymore. Keep in mind, this is a good thing for all the world, and a step in the right direction. But what about health food for your dogs? Is there anything you need to know? Well, we can definitely point you in the direction of some treats that are both good for you and good for your dogs.

So what we are saying here us, instead of giving table scraps and treats the dog should not have, here are some healthy alternatives. Snacks you can both munch on and enjoy without having to worry about a growing waistline. Snacks that you think are good for you both are often good for you both. Examples being carrots, unsalted and unbuttered popcorn, green beans, apple slices, and even blueberries. The trick is, like with anything you give your dog, you need to make sure it is all given in moderation.

The reason we right this is many people see their dogs as unofficial garbage disposals, and this can lead to some serious health problems down the road for the dog. While you may think it is funny to give your dog treats off your plate that you don’t wanna eat during dinner or desert, this just makes much bigger problems down the road for you both (literally).

So keep the snacks organic and healthy, and keep your dog healthy. Easy enough, right?
