Heroic Woman has to Pay Fees for Saving Dog on Train Tracks

dog on tracks

A heroic moment at a local train station in Lima, Peru was captured on film. It all started when an owner of a dog walked inside of the station and then out onto the platform.  The dog which was not supposed to be their broke free from his owner and fell down onto the tracks.  The canine was very scared and tried to climb back up onto the platform but the sides were too high.  His owner, a woman wearing red clothing can be seen in the video desperately trying to save her beloved pet.  But the dog was too far down and could not be reached from the platform.

When train security noticed what was going on they advised everyone to stay calm.  Security advised everyone to stay away from the tracks but the crowd is growing restless.  Everyone is worried about the dog and many want to do something to help save the animal.  The train staff seems to be working really slowly and the rescue effort is not going fast enough. The train which is schedule to come down the tracks is getting closer and everyone doesn’t know if it can stop in time.  Security isn’t letting anyone get close to the tracks and they seem to be confused themselves.

One brave young woman is tired of waiting for someone to act and asks if the train tracks are electrified.  When one person standing near her tells her that they are not she springs into action.  She jumps down onto the tracks and walks over to the dog.  She grabs the medium sized dog up in her arms and a security guard helps lift the dog back onto the platform.  Then the man pulls the young hero up.  Everyone is thankful that neither the dog nor the woman got hurt.  She did a really brave thing but she is going to have to pay for her kindness.  It seems that there are laws preventing people from getting on the tracks and she was slapped with fines for her efforts.  But people are standing up for the woman and are speaking out against the train company.  To see this heroic act for yourself please watch the video below.
