Homeless Dog Gets Makeover that Saves his Life

No matter if it’s on the Internet or an in-person experience, everyone generally likes seeing others get a makeover. What can possibly be better than seeing a human get a makeover? Answer: nothing – except, perhaps, seeing an adorable homeless dog get one!

Charlie, a shelter dog, was found on the side of the road one day and was immediately brought over to a local Los Angeles Animal Shelter. There, they discovered that the poor pooch was covered with painful burrs. Aside from that, Charlie needed to be adopted right away because that facility had a high kill rating. Luckily the makeover was able to save his precious life!

The video below shows a slow progression of Charlie’s big makeover in action. You could tell that the pooch was originally scraggly and dirty, but with the proper care, he was able to go from dog care dump to insta-pup hunk! It also reveals that just 2 days after the video was complete, Charlie was finally adopted! Unfortunately, he was the exception to the rule; many dogs just like Charlie are dreaming of getting adopted.
