How to Make Your Own Rope Tugs for Dogs

Why go to the store to make a very successful dog toy when you can use an old t-shirt?   We all have old t-shirts laying around the house but if you have a dog they might find some major use out of them.   You can turn them into a super easy DIY dog toy.   Turns out the only ingredients you’ll need are a few old shirts and a pair of scissors.

All you have to do is cut small two inch slits at the base of the shirts and then rip the rest to make easy strips for your toy.   Then you gather up the ends of all the strips of fabric and do the best to tie a knot with them.    Once that knot is secure your next step is to braid all the pieces of fabric together.   Make sure it’s secure at both ends so that nothing comes loose.   Your last step once everything is secure is to cut the ends so your dog doesn’t chew any fabric and ingest.

They’re super easy to make, will save you money, and your pets will love them.
