Did you Know that a Pitbull Dachshund Mix Actually Exists?
Nowadays the dog world is not just about the pure breeds anymore. Over the years, mixed breeds are becoming popular to many people around the world as well. As a result we have seen a lot of dogs that are results from cross breeding two or more dog breeds. Some are really popular while some are not. I have heard of many mixed breed dogs such as Labrador and Poodle (Labradoodle) but I have never heard and thought that a Pitbull-Dachshund mix actually exists.
Some of you might have seen this cute pup named Rami on Facebook these past few days. But you didn’t take it seriously and thought that it was just a joke. Well, I’m telling you Rami is a real dog. He might look a bit on the weird side because of his little feet and his big pit bull head, but you will realize that his unique appearance is what makes him adorable. His pictures are not photoshopped either.
This Pitbull-Dachshund mix pooch is currently staying at Moultrie Colquitt County Humane Society in Georgia. The adorable pup is up for adoption and when the shelter put his pictures up on their Facebook page, Rami quickly got a lot of attention and became viral.
I reckon people are fascinated to see this very unique dog with a pit bull head and dachshund feet and tongue. I for one was surprised when I first saw Rami’s picture. For a moment, I thought that this dog is not real but I found out that I was wrong because this Pitbull-Dachsuhnd mix or Pithund does exist. So now you can tell your family and friends that Rami is a real deal.
If you want to learn more about Rami head on over to the Facebook page of Moultrie Colquitt County Humane Society, you will also find adoption details for Rami on that page. Hopefully, Rami will find a new and loving home soon.
I think the Pithund will make a great family pet and a guard dog since Pitbulls are guard dogs and Dachshund are good lap dogs. So if you want to see a Pithund pooch, check out Rami.
