Why We Like Comfortis For Dogs

Ultimately, as a dog owner, you want your dog to be as happy and as comfortable in life as possible. Last thing you want to think about is anything that would bring the dog discomfort. That is the simple thinking behind Comfortis. Comfortis (spinosad) is the first FDA-approved, chewable, flavored tablet that kills fleas and prevents flea infestations on dogs for a full month. While we normally do not shill medication, this stuff is pretty remarkable from what we have heard and seen so far.

First off, it destroys the idea of having to put some smelly, greasy chemicals or powders on your dogs actual skin. Instead, it is ingesting this (and enjoying it) and the process is a good deal better not only for their skin and coat, but for the results you get. Studies so far have shown that Comfortis works for up to 30 days a dosage. That, in itself, is miraculous for dog lovers. If this means there is one less thing they need to worry about, there is one less thing WE need to worry about. This flea season is already off to a bang, so what better time to step in and try Comfortis for dogs? They will be doing less scratching, which means there will be more time for tail-wagging, all around.

So check with your local Vet and see if Comfortis is a good option for your dog. It has done wonders for ours.
