Meet America’s Most Elite Dogs: Sniffing for Bombs

We’re not sure how many of you follow 60 minutes on Sundays but this past week a special was aired that focused on the world’s most elite trained dogs.   Host Lara Logan took us in for a rare look at a very secretive world of working dogs.  Some capabilities of these dogs are secrets known only by the military.

It’s an extremely fascinating piece that covers individual soldiers who have been in battle with some of these dogs.   It also covers the folks that house these dogs when they are not “working” as well as the training that these dogs undergo at an extremely young age.

If you’ve got a spare 15 minutes this video is worth the watch.
