Navy Sailor Daddy Gets the Warmest Welcome Home from His Dog

Melbourne Swelters In Record-Equalling Overnight Temperatures

It may be safe to say that world loves videos of pets reuniting with their “Dads” and “Moms” who have been away. There is just no joy captured on tape that is quite as palpable as the joy a dog seems to feel when it sees someone it thought it might never see again (yet didn’t understand why). It is videos like these that show us why having the love of a dog in your life is so essential (to us and the dog). Wait until you see the reaction this Navy Sailor got when he returned home from serving some time away.

So before you watch this, let me ask? When was the last time someone was this excited and moved and overwhelmed to see you? I do not bring this up to make anyone sad or feel less than loved. But I do bring it up because for most people (and especially people without dogs), they never experience it. But this Navy Sailor figures out pretty quickly just how important he was to the canine in his life, just by the dog’s genuine, loving reaction. Pretty much sums up the love and loyalty of a dog, and in under a minute no less. Now that, that is unconditional love.
