Meet Sebastian. It’s his seventh birthday, and you can see that he is very excited. He might not get to unwrap presents and have cake or anything like that, or maybe he does, but he knows that it’s his birthday and that today is something special. He’s like a child. All of my kids love their birthday and look forward to it every single year. It’s the last week of April and my daughter turned five last month; she’s already making her birthday list for her next birthday in a year, and she’s got her invitation list ready, and she already knows what kind of party she wants to have. She’s a kid who knows what she wants, and a birthday once or twice a week seems to be what that is.
This gorgeous Newfoundland is ready to celebrate his birthday, too. We bet he has lots of attention and love on this day, and that’s why he loves it so. He’s a big, bold, beautiful dog and his family seems to really love him a lot, so it’s fun to see them celebrate their dog the way we should all celebrate our animals. After seeing so many horrible videos and stories of dogs being abused and mistreated and then saved and rescued, this one of a family just loving their dog on his special day is more than just a little bit touching; it’s just beautiful in every manner. We love it, and it’s perfect for a Monday morning.
