Nico’s life is one that is enough to make you feel things you’ve never felt in your life. This dog, this photo; it’s enough to make your heart hurt. This beautiful Pit Bull was born and raised somewhere in which no one is sure. He spent the first six years of his life living somewhere in the world. Niko was found, rescued and taken to a high-kill shelter where he will likely lose his life. He is a biter. He is dangerous. He is a dog that looks like he’s been through so many things in his life, and it turns out the shelter is not right.

When a woman named Kelly sees the photo above, she decides to go to his shelter and take him to her vet to be euthanized humanely since the dog is labeled and dangerous. The dog has scars all over his body, and he is believed to have been a dog used for fighting. He has filed down teeth, he has ears that were cropped with kitchen shears. And he has cancer in three locations on his body.

When Kelly finds him, she decides that this is a dog that is not a bad dog, and she decides to raise money to care for him, which is when he cancer was discovered. It’s been a while now, and Niko has found that life is actually really good with his new family. He loves other dogs, and he loves very much to cuddle. His life has changed so much over the course of his life, and now he even has a friend to call his own.

Unfortunately, Niko has been diagnosed with cancer yet again. He is treated with medication that makes his tumors fall off his body, and he is living a life that is not so happy anymore. He prefers to sleep and rest most of his days.
