Pit Bull Transforms from Scared Stray to Master Cuddler Before Our Very Eyes!

Dolly2

One morning in April, Pennsylvania’s Speranza Animal Rescue received a phone call in which they were informed of a homeless Pit Bull sleeping on porches and eating trash. Heading to the scene, they found the dog and took her in.   As with most strays, this Pit Bull was reluctant to play and extremely wary of interaction.  Surely this must have been due to the neglect that this poor pitty was going through.  Who knew how long she’d been a stray?  And who knew what kinds of hard times she had been facing on the streets?

However, through time, the Pit Bull who was later named Dolly began to show signs of affection.  In fact, what once began as growling and push back quickly turned into excited “turbo” tail wags and what we would called “Super” cuddles!  Now Dolly is one of the most affectionate of the bunch and we couldn’t be happier than to see her thriving.  Speranza Animal Rescue officially has a new member of the pack- Dolly the Pit!

Next stop for Dolly?  Let’s get her a forever home!  Check out the amazing video below.
