A Police Woman First Rescues Then Adopts an Abused Dog

It was just last month that a poor dog was found being abused by four individuals when the police were contacted and were able to stop the abuse before it was too late. Thanks to the swift actions of the police in Buenos Aires, Argentina, one dog is currently very lucky to be alive. It happened in Borchex Park when the abusers tied rope around the canine’s head as well as dragged the pup across the canal and then pulled the dog out of the water and brutally beat him. If that weren’t horrible enough, they also tied a bag around the canine’s neck and purposefully and  attempted to drown the innocent, abused dog into the river.

Unfortunately, when the authorities arrived on the scene, they weren’t able to locate or apprehend the perpetrators of animal abuse. Thankfully, they were able to save the dog who got hurt from the river and rushed him immediately to a clinic right after. Not only did he almost drown, the pup endured quite a number of violent punches to its head, causing some serious head trauma and even the loss of vision in one of its eyes. Poor thing!

While the animal abusers are still at large, the vets who tried to save the dog must have worked their magic. One of them even stepped up and fostered the dog, so that when it came out of surgery it had a loving family to come home to and call his own.  In fact, that same officer who rescued and  pulled the dog out of the river ended up adopting the abused dog. Also, the community has been made alert and is trying with all its might to demand the local government to instate better (and harsher) laws to protect the animals and all other living things.
