When it comes to naming your Golden Retriever, there are many different options out there.  But today we are going to discuss some of the most popular Golden Retriever names of in 2015.  While many other dog breeds have these same names, the owners of this particular breed all seem to love some specific names. Today we are going to learn the top five male and female Golden Retriever names for the year 2015.  Below is a list a names and a little more about them.

Top Five Male Names

  1. Jake- This classic name has been around for many years. But recently it is making a comeback driving it to the top.  There are many dogs with this name, so get used to hearing it.
  2. Rocky- Another older name that has made its way back to the top in 2015. Rocky is a strong male name that is the perfect fit for your canine.
  3. Bear- This is a newer name, but many people are starting to use it. I wouldn’t be surprised if it doesn’t make it number one by the start of 2016.
  4. Toby- More of a human’s name, Toby seems to also be great for dogs. Many people like this name and it is short and sweet.
  5. Buddy- A great name for man’s best friend. Buddy is a very cute name that will be in the top five for many years to come.

Top Five Female Names

  1. Bella- This name has been popular for 3 years running. At number one there are a lot of Bella’s running around these days.
  2. Daisy- A very delicate name that is fitting for a dog. Daisy has been common for many years and is on the top of the list for good reason.
  3. Lucy- This classic name has been given too many dogs, especially this breed in particular. This is one of my favorites and many others will agree.
  4. Lola- This very cute name is really fitting for a cute pooch. The name has a nice sound to it and is very popular.
  5. Molly- This name has been around for years and is up and down on the charts. But in 2015 it rounds out the top five.
