Snoop Dog AKA Snoop Lion Releasing “Dog for Dog” Dog Food

The musical artist formerly known as Snoop Dog who now calls himself Snoop Lion is still embracing the inner dog in himself. Ever since a trip to Jamaica that inspired the rapper to change his name to Snoop Lion, he’s come back with a new attitude on helping out and being active in communities. His new positive outlook on life has lead to contributions to charities and his latest venture includes the release of a new dog food to help out dogs in shelters.

During a recent appearance on the talk show “Chelsea Lately,” Snoop announced that the canine food product would be called Dog For Dog, and that with every bag purchased, there will be a bag sent to an animal shelter, “”It’s a great cause see because what people don’t understand is that a lot of these shelters, they execute these dogs not because they don’t have a place or someone that wants to adopt them, it’s more about they don’t have food to feed them.”

In addition it appears the the new dog food it actually supposed to be eaten by dogs and their owners. We’re curious how this stuff is going to taste! Article via.
