Suspect in Blue Pit Bull Dog Fighting Ring is Tortured and Beat Up

In Michigan, a man suspected of breeding blue pit bulls for a dog fighting ring has been harmed. In an alarming story that never seems to find peace, a man who has been suspected of breeding dogs for a fight ring was forced into his home by three men in masks and he was tortured for several hours. The suspects never said what it is that they wanted from the man, but they did to him what many illegal dog fighting ring owners do; they tortured him. The man’s ear was removed, he was stabbed and he was beaten up to the point that several of his bones were broken. Thankfully, his wife and children were not home at the time to witness this horrible act. Even if he really is breaking the law with his very expensive and very elaborate breeding system for blue pits, his torturers did not do the right thing.

When police responded, they found dozens upon dozens of blue pits in the man’s house and on his property, and they found more over the course of learning he also owns other properties and had them there, too. The dogs are emaciated and fragile, many sick. The man, whose name we do not know, states that he does not breed dogs to fight. He merely breeds them to sell and that he loves them immensely. While police are searching for the men who committed this horrible crime, they are also investigating the victim’s blue pit bull breeding business.
