The Real Reason Your Dog is So Much Happier Than You

Have you ever taken a moment to sit back and really enjoy just spending a few moments with your dog? He is always so happy, and so eager to see you. No matter what you do to your dog, how bad of a mood you are in or even if you yell at him for doing something wrong, he never holds a grudge against you. He is always happy to see you, and he is always willing to love you no matter what. That’s what dogs do. They love endlessly and without condition; and they are far happier than humans. When I saw the video below, I had no idea what to expect. I will not lie when I say that it really did hit me quite hard just how simple the lesson really is.

I’m guilty of this all the time. When I’m with my kids, I’m thinking of all the other things I have to do. When I’m with my husband, we are discussing how many things we need to do, what we need to get done, and how many things we have on our plates. We are constantly busy, and we don’t stop and just enjoy the moment. There is a reason that dogs are far happier than we are, and it’s a lesson that we all need to learn. Take a look at the video. Rest assured it’s only a few seconds long, so it won’t take up much of your time. However, it will teach you more in those few seconds than you already knew.
