Two Women Claim the Same Service Dog is Theirs: Who Does it Belong To?

If ever there was a clear case that proves microchipping your animals is a good idea, it’s this one. When Linda Duncan-Raab returned home recently, it did not take her long to realize that her house had been broken into. There were some important items missing, as thieves typically do come into homes to steal things that are of value, and one of the missing items is her dog. While the dog could have run away in the midst of terror from the events of the burglary, she’s certain that the dog was stolen from her and that he is missing in a kidnapping case. She has been appearing on the news in her local area asking people to help her find her dog so that she can have him home.

The dog is a service dog in training. Basically, he is attending classes so that he can learn to become a service dog and offer his services to those in need. When he went missing, this just made things even more devastating for her. Unfortunately, things got even worse when another woman contacted the local news station and told them that her dog went missing months ago, and that the missing dog that Linda is claiming is hers is not hers; but the woman who contacted the station. Now there is a custody battle in full force, and you have to see the video from the local news to really believe what is happening in the life of this little dog.
