Firefighters have more than just a fire to worry about when they respond to a burning building. They have their own lives and their own families to worry about. They have to proceed with the utmost caution while still performing their job to the best of their ability. This is not just a job; this is an effort to potentially save lives. There could be people in a burning building, and the people that live in a home might also have animals. When firefighters in Los Angeles responded to a fire in an apartment building recently, they were not shocked to find a dog in one of the apartments. It happens all the time, and it’s completely normal. However, they were dismayed to realize the dog was already unconscious.

After carrying the dog outside and hoping for the best, firefighters on the ground were able to provide the dog with oxygen in hopes that it would allow the dog to regain its breath and move forward with its life. The dog did not respond for a few moments, but then the powerful bulldog began to catch its breath and breathe once again. The firefighters found out the dog’s name is Potato is he is very loved by his family, who is so happy that they were able to save the dog so that they didn’t have to go through the horror of losing him to a fire. It’s not always the case, but this is one emergency that ended on good terms.
