Watch What Happens When a Shelter Dog Gets the Love He Needs

Roger the Shelter Dog

They say that love is all you need, and this dog proves that this is the case. This is a dog that was living in a shelter, which is not the kind of place dogs go to find long-term love. It’s a wonderful place for dogs when they have nowhere else to go and no home, but it is not a forever solution for animals that are in need of a loving family. Shelters are for those that have nowhere else to go, meant to become a transitional location for animals when they’ve been rescued or abandoned, while they look for their new forever home.

This shelter dog was desperately missing out on love. He was quiet and withdrawn, sad and lonely despite the care he received in his shelter. Watch what happens when this amazing dog is able to receive a little love and affection from those in his life; he changes completely. He suddenly becomes a new animal with a new outlook, and he actually seems happy for once. That’s what happens when a dog unloved for so long is finally loved again. It’s a beautiful moment, and we recommend that you watch the video to see for yourself.
