Watch These Shelter Dogs Fall In Love With Their New Toy

The thing about being a shelter dog is that life is not as good as it might be if a dog had a home of its own with a loving family. The simple truth of the matter is that dogs are in need of people who love them and need them, and who care for them with great love. Shelter dogs are better off than those that are abandoned, neglected or abused, but they still don’t have that kind of special bond and relationship that they so desperately need. Additionally, so many shelters work with such a tight budget it’s not always easy to provide these dogs with the things that they need, want and could use to make life a little bit more enjoyable and a little bit better for them.

When the Associated Human Popcorn Park Shelter was given a giant ball from a local pet supply store, they knew that the dogs in their care would love it endlessly. They brought two of their dogs out to play with the new ball for the first time and they were so kind as to film the moment so we could all see just how excited and how much fun they were having with this ball. Do you see how it’s really the littlest things in life that make dogs feel so good and so loved? We cannot help but think how happy these dogs would be in their own homes with families of their own. Please, adopt a dog and give it a loving home.
