Watch This German Shepherd Search the Snow For a Snowball

Dogs are supposed to be some of the smartest animals around, and German Shepherds are known for being particularly intelligent. Well, it turns out that they might not be nearly as smart as everyone likes to think that they are. This dog, for example, is a perfect German Shepherd. Just look at that darling face he has. How can you not love that and all that it implies? Well, it turns out that this dog might not be quite as intelligent as he should – or perhaps he’s having an off day. After all, we all have off days, correct? It turns out that this darling dog is funny, though; and sometimes being funny is far better than being smart.

When he is outside playing in the snow with his people, this dog has a blast. He loves the snow, even though it’s cold. It’s the perfect opportunity for him to run around and have fun, and you can see in this video that this is exactly what he is doing. However, his human throws him a snowball. Not realizing that it’s made of snow and therefore likely disintegrated the second it fell to the ground, the dog does all this work to try and find it. He wants to have it now, and he cannot find it. It’s actually pretty hilarious to see this dog as he goes about trying to find his snowball in the snow. Do you think he can do it? Tune into the video below to find out if it’s even remotely possible.
