1. The descriptive coat

Cavapoos are known for their adorable coats. They come in different colors and types as well. Cavapoo coats can be white, black, or tri-colored. The coats can also either be flat and straight or wavy. The kind of coat that your Cavapoodle has depends completely on the type of coat that its parents have. Grooming a Cavapoo will depend on the type of coat that your pet has. These dogs tend to be low shedding to non-shedding dogs just because of their mix. However, you need to brush your Cavapoo at least once a week to prevent the development of knots. Their coats tend to tangle easily regardless of whether they’re straight or wavy.

8. Indoor pets

Cavapoos are so small that they do better indoors than outdoors. Cavapoos are the best dogs for small living spaces such as apartments and condos. You should know that they still need their daily exercise; so if you don’t have a yard in your home, make sure that you have plenty of space nearby for your Cavapoo to run around in.

9. Attachment to owners

Just know that if you have a Cavapoo, you should expect it to get attached to you fairly quickly. It’s going to want your company constantly, and it will get pretty down if you do have to get away for a while. This is the reason why you can’t leave your Cavapoo alone for long periods of time.

10. Life expectancy

The good news is Cavapoo dogs can live for a long time. Their average life expectancy is anywhere from 10 to 14 years, but many Cavapoos have been known to live for up to 20 years. All it takes is some extra love and care, a proper diet, and enough exercise, and your dog should see a longer lifetime than average.
