Lonely Puppy Walks up To Study Abroad Student and Begs for Help

While Annie was studying abroad, a chance encounter led her to a tiny and vulnerable puppy. The little one scampered towards her, whimpering softly and wagging her petite tail. Clearly in need of assistance, Annie knew she had to ensure the absence of the puppy’s mother before she could extend a helping hand.
The Turks and Caicos Islands were facing a significant issue with stray animals, and Annie’s compassionate heart sympathized with each creature in need of a loving home. Although she wished she could rescue them all, she focused her attention on a lonely puppy that had yet to reach the stage of consuming solid food.
Determined to make a difference, Annie quickly obtained a makeshift bottle and offered it to the eager pup. The sight of the puppy’s enthusiastic drinking made it clear that she had gone without a meal for quite some time.

After ensuring that Mama was nowhere to be found, and receiving confirmation from locals that the puppy had been fending for herself, Annie made a heartfelt decision to bring the puppy home with her. Graced with the name Midge, the adorable companion quickly found a special place in Annie’s heart.
However, a dilemma arose as Annie’s study program was drawing to a close, leaving her with just a week before she had to return home. The mere thought of parting ways with Midge was inconceivable to Annie, as their bond had grown immeasurably strong.
