Overall, Cockers are fun-loving dogs that love people, love to play and are great with kids but do need to be socialized from an early age. One drawback to the Cocker is its excitability. Cocker Spaniels have one little known problem when they get overly excited, they can pee a little, though this is a minor detail when you look at their overall best traits.
