Twelve of the Funniest Dog Breeds
Have you ever met a really funny dog? A dog that just seems to know how to make people laugh and tends to get joy from that, so it just keep doing it? Sometimes, a dog has funny mannerisms. Sometimes, a dog just has a lot of character and knows how to show that. With some dogs, it can just mean being energetic and always happy that makes people laugh. Regardless of the breed, all dogs like to have fun, but not all dogs are funny. But believe it or not, breed factors in, too, as you will see. Now please understand, in some of these cases we will be laughing at how the dog looks, but do not take that as cruel. Truth is, dogs love making humans happy, so if a dog knew we were giggling at its dreadlocks, we don’t think it would be very upset. The truth is, the dog would probably laugh right back if it could. That out of the way, after much deliberation, here are twelve funny dog breeds, presented in no particular order.
The Alaskan Klee Kai. What is cuter and funnier than a tiny husky who acts like a dog three times his size? Not only are they adorable, but he looks like a regular Husky that got squashed down, cartoon style.
Xoloitzcuintli: A Hairless Mexican breed that always looks like it just sneezed and lost half it’s fur, this breed is really funny, but it’s even funnier when people try to pronounce the breed’s name.
The irony? We say their name and it sounds like us sneezing.
Mastiffs: There is something hilarious about a dog that is the size of a moose, but acts like it is the size of a puppy. Mastiff’s often seem to be blissfully unaware of how large they are, and seeing an 160 pound dog leap up into someone’s lap and then look at them like a puppy can often be side splittingly hilarious.
All the drool can be funny, too, if you have the right kind of sense of humor.
Bergamasco: The dog who thinks like its dreadlocks. Like, honestly, have you ever seen one of these things run? It looks like some little adorable ornament that should be somewhere. Don’t let the fur scare you, though. A truly wonderful breed.
Chinese Crested: This small, hairy, weird looking dog is known for causing people to burst into uproarious fits of laughter. We know it may seem slightly mean to laugh at something for how it looks, but come on, it looks like even the dog is in on the joke.

Puli: Better known as the dog that looks like a mop. If you have ever seen one of these dogs jump, than you know it is pretty much the pinnacle of dog hilarity. Seriously, they end up looking like a helicopter made out of dreadlocks.

Brussels Griffon: What we love about these dogs and what makes them so funny is pretty much summed up in that picture. Brussels Griffon kind of act like snarky yet lovable old men. They may be sweet and loyal, but they look like they would tell you to get off their lawn, and that makes us laugh every time we see one. We mean that in the best way possible.
Dandie Dinmont Terrier: What happens when you have a tiny dog that has really short legs and has a cute little puff of hair on its head? You get a hilarious looking dog. Sweet, friendly, and outgoing, but that little puff of hair never fails to crack us up.
Daschund: Ah, the famous “Hot Dog”. Not only is their smaller size adorable, but they have great personalities that often result in them doing adorable and hilarious things. Heck, just look at him in his costume and try not smile. See, that’s what we thought.

Corgi : Much like the Dachshund mentioned about, the Corgi gets a reputation as a funny dog because of its small size and cute mannerisms. Sorry to go the costume route again, but this fire engine corgi was too cute not to share. Plus, as you can see, they don’t mind throwing on a costume for the sake of laughs either. A true performer and a riot o a dog.

Bedlington Terrier: Is it a sheep? Is it a dog? Is it a Poodle? These are just a few of the questions that fans of this breeds find themselves asking as they watch their dog. Add sweet and lovable to the odd look and you have a truly funny dog. A wholly funny breed, actually.
