Woman Sees A Couple Walking Her “Stolen” Dog: Snatches the Dog Right Back

Upon the disappearance of her senior Chihuahua named Fidel at a park, Jessica Gary experienced a high degree of frustration and was determined to employ all available resources to locate her beloved pet.
The loss of a dog can be an emotionally taxing event for any owner. In her efforts to reunite with Fidel, Jessica generously offered a reward of $3,000, as the 15-year-old dog required daily medication for survival.

Over the course of two days, Jessica diligently canvassed Brooklyn by distributing missing posters for her senior canine, Fidel. Regrettably, her endeavors yielded no results in locating him.
Additionally, she sought assistance from her social media network by requesting her friends to circulate Fidel’s missing poster. Fortuitously, an individual provided her with a valuable lead, which ultimately led to the discovery of her cherished pet in the Carroll Gardens vicinity.
Upon arriving at the specified location, Jessica observed a couple nonchalantly walking with Fidel. Wishing to avoid confrontation and minimize any risk of losing her pet, she proceeded cautiously.
When her companion spotted the couple, they promptly exited the vehicle and retrieved Fidel from them. Jessica and her friend swiftly returned to the car and secured the door. Although the disgruntled couple struck the window with a skateboard, Jessica and her friend managed to depart the scene unharmed.

Jessica speculates that the couple may have acquired or bought Fidel from a third party, leaving the true individual responsible for taking the dog yet to be identified.
Notwithstanding the alarming experience, Fidel remained unscathed and has since been joyfully reunited with his resolute owner. Jessica recognizes that her actions in rescuing her dog could potentially be deemed unlawful, but she harbors no regrets.
