“I had always desired to own a bully breed dog,” shared Hannah. “While browsing the website of a local rescue organization, I came across a litter of eight puppies. T

heir mother had been abandoned at the shelter while she was pregnant, and was placed in a foster home where she gave birth.

I informed the foster home of my preferences, and they selected a puppy for me.” Since then, Hannah has dedicatedly provided a loving home for Arlo in her first house.

Arlo is known for his gentle nature and has proven to be an ideal candidate as a therapy dog. Hannah enrolled him in the necessary training and certification, recognizing his ability to bring joy and comfort to others.

Additionally, Hannah aims to use Arlo’s role as a therapy dog to combat the negative stereotypes associated with pit bulls. Arlo’s breed is often unfairly portrayed as dangerous, and their physical appearance is often considered intimidating.

Despite this, Hannah has encountered many questions regarding Arlo’s suitability as a therapy dog, she is determined to demonstrate the true nature of the breed through her furry companion.
