Woman’s Dying Wish Is To See Her Beloved Dog Find The Perfect Home
Valerie Alexander resides in Philadelphia’s Old City neighborhood, where she shares her home with her beloved companion, Rosie. Rosie has been a loyal and steadfast friend to Valerie throughout their five-year journey. Now, as Valerie approaches her final days, she is determined to secure a bright future for her faithful canine companion.
Valerie, who is battling terminal brain cancer, has one final wish—to find a loving home for Rosie before she passes away. In an interview with Fox 29, Valerie expressed, “She’s not just a pet; she’s family. She’s like my child.” Alongside Valerie’s doctor’s prognosis of only a few weeks left to live, the search for Rosie’s forever family has become even more urgent.
Valerie longs to meet the individuals who will provide care and affection to her cherished pup once she is no longer able to do so. She wants nothing more than to ensure that Rosie receives as much love as she has given throughout her life. Valerie’s heartfelt desire is for Rosie to experience a happy life, free from sadness, confinement, or mistreatment. She yearns for Rosie to be with someone who genuinely loves her.

Charles Bowles, a friend of Valerie’s and Rosie’s dedicated dog walker, has taken it upon himself to assist in finding the perfect home for Rosie. He envisions Rosie’s ideal human companion as someone full of energy, equipped with an abundance of tennis balls, and without any other pets in their household. Charles believes that either an energetic individual seeking a running buddy or someone with a spacious yard where Rosie can freely roam would be a great match for her.
