It’s Been a First Dog
When Ronald Reagan was in the White House as President, he had a Cavalier King Charles spaniel of his very own. The dog was referred to as the “First Dog” and the world loved to see photos of the little dog with his family. The dog’s name was Rex, and the former president gave the dog to his wife when he was in the midst of his second term, back in 1985. The dog was very popular around the country, and people just loved to see it and hear from it, and see what it was up to when it was in the office.
