30 Photos That Document The Lives Of Homeless People And Their Dogs In Brazil

Although there are currently thousands of homeless individuals in Brazil, it is important to recognize that these individuals are more than just a statistic. They are families, children, young people, the elderly, and lonely men and women who have found themselves in a difficult situation. While their condition may seem hopeless, it is important to remember that there is always the potential for change and improvement.

One aspect that sets the homeless population in Brazil apart is the fact that many of these individuals have dogs that also live on the streets. These animals often provide companionship and support to their owners, and it is heartwarming to see the strong bond that exists between them. While it is a challenging situation, it is inspiring to see the resilience and determination of both the humans and their furry companions as they navigate life on the streets together.

In a project called “Moradores de Rua e Seus Cães” (eng. Homeless people and their dogs), the organizers are assisting homeless people and their four-legged friends in Brazil to live a healthier life, including medical care.
