The 10 Most Famous Dogs of Celebrities
Dogs are man’s best friend; as well as many women’s best friends. Most dog owners love their dogs as much – if not more – than some of the people in their lives and they let it be known. Dogs are such wonderful companions it’s hard not to show your love for them. They are sweet and sassy, they are loyal and wonderful and they are credited for helping humans live longer and happier lives. What’s not to love about a dog? Most celebrities that own dogs have had them for many years. Their dogs have better clothes than most people, and they are certainly more famous than most people. Some of the most famous people in the world have dogs just as recognizable as they, and we love to see photos of their little animals out and about, and we love to keep up with their animals. Read on to see some of our favorite famous celebrity dogs.
Daisy
We like to think that Jessica Simpson is responsible for the fact that hybrid dogs are now the most popular in the world. Her adorable dog Daisy was made famous when she was still married to Nick Lachey and starring in her own reality television show. This adorable maltipoo was one of the cutest dogs around. Unfortunately, the dog was taken by a coyote and killed back in 2009 and everyone who knew the dog mourned its loss.
Bo Obama
When President Barack Obama was voted into the white house, he had a job to do. He had to get his young daughters a dog. He’d made a promise to them during his campaign that if the family were to live in the white house, he would get them a dog. He made it and he kept his promise. It’s nice to see that he’s managed to do that at least once in the past few years.
Bit Bit
If you thought the president’s dog was famous, you should meet Bit Bit. The tiny little Chihuahua that belongs to pop princess Britney Spears became famous in 2004 when Britney brought the dog on a red carpet with her. Not only was the dog small and cute, it was decked out in jewels far more impressive and beautiful than anything you or I have ever worn. This little dog was dressed in more than $100,000 worth of diamonds.
Queen Elizabeth’s Corgis
She’s had corgis since she was a young girl of only 18, and she’s only recently decided that she would no longer breed them. She had several dog deaths in the family and could no longer bear the thought of breeding dogs. The Queen has had many a Corgi over the years thanks to the fact that she continuously bred them, but we don’t know how much longer she will care for animals now that she’s about to have another great-grandbaby in the royal palace.
Cookie
Cookie has been a reality star longer than most reality stars. The kind of mean and judgmental dog that belongs to the Real Housewives of New York City’s Bethenny Frankel is a dog you just have to love. Cookie appears to love only his mommy and no one else, which always makes it fun to watch when someone new comes around the reality star. Cookie goes a bit crazy, and we kind of love watching this as it happens.
Buddy
The adorable white dog, which looks like maltese-poodle mix belongs to Demi Lovato. The former Disney star turned singer has had this dog for a while now, and she is always posting photos of Buddy to her social media accounts saying how much she loves him, how smart he is and so she can show off his newest tricks and skills for her adoring fans.
Ruby
Another apparent poodle mix, Ruby is the dog that belongs to Kaley Cuoco, the star of The Big Bang Theory. She’s had this dog for a while since she’s always showing pictures of Ruby on her social media accounts, and she loves this little one to bits and pieces. There are more photos of her dog than just about anyone and anything else in her life, and we kind of love that. We love that she’s one of the highest paid actresses on television right now – and almost ever – and that she likes to keep it real hanging out with her pooch.
Tinkerbell
Paris Hilton’s little teacup Chihuahua has been famous for years. This is the dog she’s had for many years that she has taken on red carpets. It’s debuted on her reality shows. It’s been part of her appearances, her life and her interviews. She loves this dog more than she seems to love anything else, except for being famous that is.
Giggy
Giggy is probably the most famous dog in the world. He is partially bald and he has some health issues, but he is the most well dressed animal in all of Beverly Hills. The dog belongs to Lisa Vanderpump and her husband Ken, the stars of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. This dog goes everywhere with these two and often gets more love than both of them combined. Giggy is adorable, famous and very well-dressed. Because he has hair loss issues, they always keep him in something that will hide his hairline and make him a little bit warmer and more comfortable.
Sophie
The beautiful dog that belonged to Oprah has touched our hearts in so many ways. This dog was one that had been so close to the famous star that when she passed away in 2008, the talk show host gave one of the most emotional speeches of her life. She said that this was a dog that was so important to her she didn’t even know what she would do without the dog in her life. Well, it’s been more than 7 years since Sophie passed, and while Oprah misses her dog a lot, she’s got two new ones to think about these days, so we think she’s all right.
