After being attacked by another dog, Bruno found himself at the SPCA shelter, seeking refuge. Despite losing an ear in the incident, the resilient Pit Bull remained gentle and affectionate. A heartwarming incident occurred when a shelter worker introduced Bruno to a stuffed dog as a companion, and Bruno did something truly remarkable—he gave the plush toy a makeover!
When Levi came across Bruno’s story online and saw the photo of him with his altered stuffed friend, he felt an instant connection and knew he had to meet him. Bruno had torn off the toy’s ear to match his own, the exact ear he had lost. Levi believed Bruno did this because he didn’t want to feel different all by himself.

The moment Bruno was let out of his kennel to meet Levi, he eagerly ran over, proudly carrying his favorite plushy. The pup’s tail wagged with uncontainable joy. Despite the traumatic experiences in his past, Bruno left it all behind him. As soon as Levi took Bruno home, the dog quickly adjusted within a few minutes, eagerly embracing his new life.
Nowadays, Bruno spends his days living it up with his loving dad. One of his favorite activities is going to the dog park, where people initially judge him based on his breed. However, their preconceptions swiftly change once they notice his missing ear. Levi proudly states that Bruno’s unique appearance challenges people’s prejudices.
