Pam, the musical accompanist to Oscar, reveals that the talented pooch discovered his singing prowess approximately eighteen months ago. While Pam was playing the piano in her cozy living room, her exuberant companion couldn’t resist joining in with his own melodic contributions. Since then, Oscar has received voice lessons, allowing him to refine his natural gift. Pam enthusiastically shares, “He can sing. He has the ability to sustain a note and even perform vibrato.”

“I’m not joking, I’ve been a part of this show for a considerable time, and I’ve always said that if we could discover a singing dog, that would be the ultimate for me.”

With the pressure on to impress the panel of judges, Oscar remained unfazed by stage fright. The entire audience let out a collective “aww” as the adorable dog decided to lie down on the stage while the conversation continued. When Pam took her place at the piano, Oscar appeared poised and ready.

Confidently, Oscar delivered his remarkable rendition of Pachelbel’s “Canon in D Major,” tailored to his unique canine abilities. Backstage, Tyra Banks marveled at how the singing dog managed to stay in tune. As the song reached its conclusion, the audience erupted into a standing ovation, with even Simon Cowell himself rising to his feet, expressing his admiration.

Cowell praised Oscar’s singing talents, but in his characteristic fashion, he couldn’t resist critiquing the piano playing. Overall, both Oscar and his human partner managed to captivate both the audience and the judges. Who knows, perhaps a record deal awaits Oscar in the future.
